North Attleborough is easily accessible by several train lines or by car, and commuting to Boston or Providence is a quick ride. Airports in Boston, Providence and Worcester serve the town, and the seaports of Boston Harbor and Narragansett Bay are close by.

Baptist Common contains a Civil War monument, flag pole, and grass areas. This beautifully landscaped park is the site of numerous veterans’ memorial services. Webster Park is home to a Revolutionary War memorial, flagpole and grass areas. The Spanish-American War Memorial was recently dedicated to the veterans of the Spanish-American War, with a monument, flagpole and grass areas. Toner Memorial, named to honor Robert Toner who was a veteran of World War II, contains a flagpole along with trees, flowers and shrubs. The Harold Burns Wildlife Arboretum features trails, benches, a wildlife habitat and a memorial garden. Simmons Park contains a flagpole, war memorial, trees, flowers and shrubs on a half-acre site.

Other parks in North Attleborough include Community Field with lighted ball fields, a field house, concession stands and a neighborhood playground. This park has been serving the community for more than 100 years. Mason Field has three ball fields, a field house, bandstand and stage, playgrounds and ball courts. This park is the home of the North Attleborough Little League and Junior Football teams and hosts Kid’s Day. This park has also served the town for more than 100 years. The two pond recreation areas in North Attleborough are under the jurisdiction of the Conservation Commission. Falls Pond has picnic sites and allows motorboats and fishing. Whiting Pond allows fishing and non-motorized boats. Woodcock Historical Cemetery features headstones of the early settlers and a flagpole.

Bristol County was created on June 2, 1685 when Old Plymouth Colony was divided into Plymouth, Bristol and Barnstable counties. The county seat for Bristol County is Taunton. Museums in the county include the Attleboro Industrial Museum, Attleboro Museum Center for the Arts, Women at Work Museum, Lizzie Borden Museum, Marine Museum at Fall River, Old Colony FR Railroad Museum, New Bedford Art Museum, New Bedford Whaling Museum and the Rotch Jones Duff House & Museum. Arts and cultural activities include a visit to Artworks! Other attractions for residents and visitors include Dover Street and Gallery X, taking in a performance at the New Bedford Festival and Zeiterion theatres or listening to the sounds of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra.
